The Advanced School of Global Missions at Christ For
The Nations Institute prepares students for both shortterm
and career missions through classroom and field
instruction. We provide practical missionary preparation
and training for each student — starting in the classroom,
then transitioning into an international field school for
hands-on training. Graduates of the school can elect to
join a missionary mentor or mission team with one of our
mission agency partners to serve in a 21st-century ministry
to the nations.
“One Call — One Mission — His Heartbeat” is the motto of the
Advanced School of Global Missions. We exist to cultivate and prepare
students for their calling to world missions, reaching every tribe,
tongue and nation with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His heartbeat is
for all people to know Him.

attending the Advanced
School of Global Missions

to participate in class
activities with many

students

Each student is a part of
a field school team that
prepares them for their
journey in world missions.
Students also participate
in small group ministry
teams with the Advanced
Leadership and Pastoral
School. |
The Advanced School of
Global Missions offers
a once-in-a-lifetime
opportunity for students to
experience real missionary
life and ministry. The
most effective training
occurs when prospective
missionaries are placed
in a cross-cultural setting
for a short period of time
with seasoned missionary
instructors; field school
training provides this
experience for students.
Skills learned during field
school training include:
evangelism, church
planting, medical missions,
children’s ministry within
the native culture and
humanitarian aid, as well
as learning about various
community resource
